Sherwood is stepping up its push to expand into residential communities — especially those rural communities who have traditionally been underserved — with ultrafast internet service.

Recently, Sherwood requested $2 million in federal funding to help out with underserved rural neighborhoods after having success with hooking up broadband to several other rural areas over the last three years.
